Next release This sector's pack (words, templates and standard indicators) is built for the next release. Today's live product uses the general words in each sector; the modules below carry their own labels.

The sector pack

Manufacturing: words, templates and indicators

Free in every plan. Next release Built and tested on the release branch, not in the live product yet. It reaches the live product with the next release.

The sector's words

The product says these instead of the general words, everywhere in the workspace.

Standard indicators, with their codes

This pack's templates bring their own indicators (listed under each template). The product's catalogue of 27 standard indicators from 7 published standards can be used in any sector.

Starter templates

A template brings tasks, milestones, risks and indicators with no figures in them: no amount, no baseline, no target.

Production line upgrade

Equipment installed and commissioned, each acceptance test recorded.

5 tasks · 2 milestones · 2 risks · form: Acceptance test

  • Acceptance tests passed tests

Quality management system

Procedures written, staff trained and audits held, each finding kept.

New product introduction

A product taken from design to first production, each gate decision kept.

Site types

The places a project works at, each with its own fields. The same five types for each sector; a road section is measured by chainage.

Modules

The modules that matter most in manufacturing

Our suggestion, not a limit: any module can be used in any sector. Each label says what runs in the live product today. Labels checked on 14 October 2026 against the live product (the build of 8 October 2026) and the release branch.

Partly live

Included in every plan: Core Partly live Projects, activities, approval steps, risks, the audit log and the Project Book run today. Organisation structure, meetings, blockers, stage gates, lessons and the timeline are built for the next release. And the sector pack Next release.

Prices are list prices per workspace, as decided on 2026-10-12. They apply once modules can be added one by one, which comes with the next release; today the product is offered per programme, on quotation (see Pricing). A module that is not in the live product is not sold yet.

Every module for manufacturing

Worked example, fictional

A workshop installs a second packing line

A fictional food packing workshop, Larkfield Foods, installs a second line in eight weeks without stopping the first one.

  1. Partly live Planning & Schedule

The eight weeks are laid out as activities: order, delivery, installation, trial runs and sign-off. Activities run today. The annual work plan is worked out by the engine but has no screen yet; its screen is built for the next release.

  2. Partly live Procurement & Contracts

The machine purchase is a procurement plan line, and the supplier's contract sits on the contract screen. Procurement plan lines and the contract screen run today. Bids, evaluation and award have no screen yet, and vendors, tenders and purchase orders are not in the live product yet.

  3. Next release Work & Collaboration

Preventive maintenance on the first line runs as recurring work, so it is not forgotten during installation.

Fictional workshop and dates. Partly live Planning & Schedule

Fictional organisation, places and figures. Each step carries the label of the module it uses. A step labelled Next release, In development or Planned describes the design, not today's product; a step labelled Partly live uses only the part that runs today.
