Next release This sector's pack (words, templates and standard indicators) is built for the next release. Today's live product uses the general words in each sector; the modules below carry their own labels.
Agriculture: words, templates and indicators
Free in every plan. Next release Built and tested on the release branch, not in the live product yet. It reaches the live product with the next release.
The sector's words
The product says these instead of the general words, everywhere in the workspace.
| General word | In agriculture |
|---|---|
| Beneficiary | Farmer |
| Recurring operation | Seasonal operation |
| Daily log | Field diary |
Standard indicators, with their codes
| Code | Indicator | Standard |
|---|---|---|
SDG 2.4.1 | Proportion of agricultural area under productive and sustainable agriculture | SDG global indicator framework |
Definitions are copied from each published standard and pinned to its version; each one names its source in the product. A template adds an indicator with no baseline and no target.
Starter templates
A template brings tasks, milestones, risks and indicators with no figures in them: no amount, no baseline, no target.
Irrigation scheme rehabilitation
Canals and structures rehabilitated, each section handed to its water users.
4 tasks · 2 milestones · 2 risks · form: Section handover
- Area served by the rehabilitated scheme hectares
SDG 2.4.1Proportion of agricultural area under productive and sustainable agriculture percent of agricultural area
Farmer field schools
Groups formed and sessions held through the season, sessions not held kept.
5 tasks · 2 milestones · 2 risks · form: Session attendance
- Farmers attending at least half the sessions people
Producer group and market support
Producer groups supported from inputs to market, each sale recorded as reported.
4 tasks · 2 milestones · 2 risks
- Producer groups selling through an agreed buyer groups
Site types
The places a project works at, each with its own fields. The same five types for each sector; a road section is measured by chainage.

The modules that matter most in agriculture
Our suggestion, not a limit: any module can be used in any sector. Each label says what runs in the live product today. Labels checked on 14 October 2026 against the live product (the build of 8 October 2026) and the release branch.
Partly live
Planning & Schedule
The annual work plan, the activity outline and recorded progress.
Activities run today. The annual work plan is worked out by the engine but has no screen yet; its screen is built for the next release.

Partly live
Results & M&E
Indicators, targets, values with a second-person check, and data quality rules.
Indicators and their reported values run today; a missing value shows as a dash. Targets are built for the next release.

Sub-grants, beneficiary registers and cash transfers.

Included in every plan: Core Partly live Projects, activities, approval steps, risks, the audit log and the Project Book run today. Organisation structure, meetings, blockers, stage gates, lessons and the timeline are built for the next release. And the sector pack Next release.
Prices are list prices per workspace, as decided on 2026-10-12. They apply once modules can be added one by one, which comes with the next release; today the product is offered per programme, on quotation (see Pricing). A module that is not in the live product is not sold yet.
An irrigation scheme hands its canals over section by section
A fictional irrigation project in Southmere rehabilitates 14 km of canals. Each section is handed to its water users' group when the works are done, and the coordinator reports hectares irrigated each season.
-
Next release Sector pack
The project starts from the pack's Irrigation scheme rehabilitation template: the survey, the works list, the headworks and the hand-over of each section, with the farmer called a Farmer and the field diary its own record.
-
Partly live Planning & Schedule
The coordinator tracks each section as an activity with its approval step, so the hand-over dates sit next to the plan. Activities run today. The annual work plan is worked out by the engine but has no screen yet; its screen is built for the next release.
-
Partly live Results & M&E
Area under productive and sustainable agriculture is reported per season; a season with no reading yet shows a dash, never zero. Indicators and their reported values run today; a missing value shows as a dash. Targets are built for the next release.
| Section | Length | Step |
|---|---|---|
| S1 Headworks to km 2 | 2.0 km | Handed over |
| S2 km 2 to km 6 | 4.0 km | Works done |
| S3 km 6 to km 14 | 8.0 km | Late |
Fictional organisation, places and figures. Each step carries the label of the module it uses. A step labelled Next release, In development or Planned describes the design, not today's product; a step labelled Partly live uses only the part that runs today.
