Work plans, partner advances and results in one traceable record
Programmes implemented or funded by UN agencies usually run through government counterparts and implementing partners, each with their own work plan, cash and reporting. projectsmanager.ai gives the programme unit one place for those plans, the cash transferred against them and the results reported, with every figure linked to its source.
Two common arrangements
Each agency has its own financial rules, partner agreements and assurance framework. This page describes the work in general terms; your agency's policies and your agreements are the authority.
UN-implemented programmes
An agency programme team plans with government counterparts and civil society partners, transfers cash to them against agreed work plans, and reports results to the agency's own donors.
UN-funded government or NGO units
A ministry unit or NGO receives funds from a UN agency, often alongside other financiers, and must report to each in its own format while keeping one set of books.
Where programme teams spend their time
Partner work plans
Agreeing activities, budgets and timing with each implementing partner, and revising them when circumstances change.
Cash transfers to implementing partners
Advancing funds, tracking what has been reported as spent, and following up outstanding balances before the next transfer. Agencies' own assurance activities depend on these records being in order.
Results reporting
Collecting indicator values from partners, checking them against evidence, and reporting to donors whose frameworks differ from the agency's own.
Available today
Work plans by partner
Activities with budget, timing and the responsible partner, approved through a recorded workflow.
Advances and liquidation
Cash transferred to each partner, what has been reported against it and what is outstanding, with supporting documents attached.
Partners see their own work
Each implementing partner can plan and report on its own activities without seeing other partners' records.
Results with evidence
Indicators with targets and actuals, each value linked to its evidence. Values not yet reported show as "not reported", never zero.
Financial reports
Interim financial reports built from recorded transactions, each line opening to the payments in it.
Audit trail and read-only viewers
A log of every change and approval, and read-only access for donors or oversight staff.
Cost tables and reports are partly available. AI assistants answer questions about your records with a citation to the source, or decline.
What it is not, and what is in development
Not a replacement for agency systems
UN agencies run their own enterprise systems for finance and partner management. projectsmanager.ai is for the programme unit's day-to-day work and does not replace an agency's official records or its assurance framework.
In development
Field monitoring with GPS-tagged photos for partner site visits, procurement method selection, a double-entry ledger, completion reporting and next-project planning, and single sign-on.
projectsmanager.ai is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the United Nations or any UN agency. Hosting region is agreed per client; in-country or client-hosted deployment is available on quotation.
