Households as employers

ISIC section T: Activities of households as employers; undifferentiated goods- and services-producing activities of households for own use

Households that employ people or run their own building, farming or care projects. Rare as a customer, listed so every ISIC section has a page.

Planned This sector's pack (words, templates and standard indicators) is planned. Today's live product uses the general words in each sector; the modules below carry their own labels.

The sector pack

Households as employers: words, templates and indicators

Free in every plan. Planned Designed, not built yet.

This sector's words and templates are not written yet. Until they are, a workspace in this sector uses the general words (Beneficiary, Client, Indicator, Daily log) and can start from any other sector's templates.

Site types

The places a project works at, each with its own fields. The same five types for each sector; a road section is measured by chainage.

Modules

The modules that matter most in households as employers

Our suggestion, not a limit: any module can be used in any sector. Each label says what runs in the live product today. Labels checked on 14 October 2026 against the live product (the build of 8 October 2026) and the release branch.

Included in every plan: Core Partly live Projects, activities, approval steps, risks, the audit log and the Project Book run today. Organisation structure, meetings, blockers, stage gates, lessons and the timeline are built for the next release. And the sector pack Planned.

Prices are list prices per workspace, as decided on 2026-10-12. They apply once modules can be added one by one, which comes with the next release; today the product is offered per programme, on quotation (see Pricing). A module that is not in the live product is not sold yet.

Every module for households as employers

Worked example, fictional

A family builds a house in stages

A fictional family in Southmere builds a house in three stages over two years, paying builders as each stage is done.

  1. Partly live Planning & Schedule

Foundations, walls and roof are activities with their dates. Activities run today. The annual work plan is worked out by the engine but has no screen yet; its screen is built for the next release.

  2. Partly live Finance & Books

Each builder's invoice is recorded and followed until it is paid. Invoices and expenditure run today, and advances in part. The books of account (ledger, vouchers and budgets) are built for the next release.

  3. Partly live Core

The risks, such as late materials, sit in the risk log with a response. Projects, activities, approval steps, risks, the audit log and the Project Book run today. Organisation structure, meetings, blockers, stage gates, lessons and the timeline are built for the next release.

Fictional family and stages. Partly live Planning & Schedule

Fictional organisation, places and figures. Each step carries the label of the module it uses. A step labelled Next release, In development or Planned describes the design, not today's product; a step labelled Partly live uses only the part that runs today.
